Mission
Dedicated to facilitate the provision of quality traditional and alternative health services to the community of Tanzania and enable them improve their well-being through quality service delivery, adherence to moral and ethical practices.

Vision
To be a model of excellence in the institutionalization and management of traditional and alternative health services in terms of quality and equity.

Core values of the Council

• Dedication– The council has to undertake initiatives of institutionalising traditional health services and motivate practitioners to be dedicated to service they provide

• Quality service delivery – Technical support given to enable quality care services to meet customers’ needs

• Moral and Ethical Practice – To work in accordance with agreed rules, regulations and accepted behaviour taking into consideration the need for professionalism.
